Job Title: Court Case Manager 2 (41-3335) Dillingham
Job Responsibilities:
The Court Case Manager 2 at the Dillingham Trial Courts is responsible for a variety of duties essential to the effective operation of the court system. Primary responsibilities include:
- Setting up and maintaining criminal and civil files, entering initial and updated information into computer systems.
- Coordinating the scheduling of hearings and trial dates, notifying all parties involved.
- Monitoring and routing pleadings and motions to the judicial officer.
- Preparing legal documents such as summons, bench warrants, arrest warrants, and judgments.
- Distributing court documents to relevant agencies.
- Responding to inquiries regarding criminal proceedings and generating receipts for funds received.
- Transferring files and paperwork to out-of-town courts, filing, and filling out disbursement forms for releasing funds.
- Maintaining the master jury list, screening jurors for qualifications, monitoring jury attendance, excusals, and deferments.
- Preparing the jury room and juror pay cards.
- Responding to questions from the public, court staff, and other agencies without providing legal advice.
- Answering phones and directing calls to appropriate staff.
- Preparing the courtroom and operating electronic recording equipment, troubleshooting any issues, and keeping log notes of court proceedings.
- Preparing forms for the judicial officer’s signature, swearing in witnesses and jurors, securing and maintaining exhibits.
- Serving as a bailiff during trials as required.

Work Hours:
The position is full-time with a schedule of hours per week. Work hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 . to 4:30 ., with a one-hour lunch break.

Education and Experience Information:
Applicants must meet one of the following qualifications:
- Graduation from high school or completion of a General Education Development (GED) certificate and one year of advanced clerical work experience equivalent to a Court Case Manager 1 with the **Members Only** or an equivalent position with another employer.
- Graduation from high school or completion of a GED certificate and completion of a two-year paralegal curriculum from an accredited institution.
- A bachelor's degree from an accredited college.
Additional Required Information:
Applicants must attach post-secondary transcripts if using education to meet minimum qualifications. During the interview phase, candidates must provide:
- Copies of the two most recent performance evaluations or two letters of recommendation.
- A list of three professional references with supervisory authority, including their contact information.

Selection Procedure:
