Work closely with attorneys in the Intellectual Property group to provide strategic counseling and guidance to clients on all aspects of patent prosecution, protection, and enforcement.
Conduct patentability and freedom-to-operate analyses, and assist with due diligence for licensing, acquisitions, and other transactions.
Draft and prosecute high-quality, strategic patent applications, and respond to office actions from the USPTO.
Interact with clients and manage patent portfolios to ensure timely and effective prosecution and maintenance of patents.
Collaborate with colleagues in other practice areas to provide comprehensive legal advice to clients.
Stay current on relevant legal and industry developments and trends.



Required Qualifications:

Admission to the New York State Bar.
4+ years of patent counseling and prosecution experience in a law firm setting.
