**Members Only**, a leading law firm specializing in intellectual property, is currently seeking a highly qualified attorney to join our biotechnology prosecution department. We are looking for candidates with a minimum of 2 years of experience and a . in biology, molecular biology, cellular, biochemistry or related disciplines. The ideal candidate will also have strong academic credentials.
Compensation for this position is highly competitive, with a base salary range of $200,000 – $350,000 annually, depending on qualifications and experience. In addition, the firm offers signing bonuses and annual bonuses as part of the compensation package.
Responsibilities:
- Conducting patent prosecution and drafting patent applications in the field of biotechnology
- Collaborating with clients to develop and protect their intellectual property
- Conducting legal research and providing opinions on patentability, validity and infringement
- Participating in patent litigation and post-grant proceedings
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in biotechnology patent prosecution
- . in biology, molecular biology, cellular, biochemistry or related disciplines
- Strong academic credentials
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
