Job Title: Associate Attorney for Trademark Practice Group
- 5 years of trademark focused legal experience required
- Must be licensed to practice law in Illinois or able to sit for Illinois bar exam
- Strong academic credentials and legal reasoning skills
- Experience in trademark prosecution, searches, and clearance opinions
- Interest in trademark infringement litigation and enforcement
- Experience in handling domain name disputes and copyright issues
- Experience as a USPTO trademark examiner or in branding/marketing a plus
- Dedication to trademark sector of IP law preferred

Responsibilities:
- Training and supervising junior associates
- Significant client responsibilities and autonomy
- Conducting trademark clearance searches and opinions
- Preparing and prosecuting trademark applications
- Counseling clients on building and enforcing trademark portfolios
- Managing domestic and international trademark portfolios
- Handling disputes related to advertising, contests, promotions, and sweepstakes
- Copyright counseling and protection
- Managing anti-counterfeiting litigation
- Counseling clients on domain name disputes
- Investing in business development opportunities

Salary Information:
- Annual salary of $250,000-$280,000 for Associates with 5-8 years of relevant experience
- Salaries determined based on experience, education, and meeting minimum billable hour targets
