FINRA Legal Extern, Enforcement - Fall 2025 Semester
- Unpaid position with opportunity for experience and skill-building
- Part-time, twice a week, from August to December
- Work closely with attorneys, investigators, and management
- Assist in investigations of potential violations of securities laws and regulations
- Perform legal research, writing, and document review
- Observe on-the-record interviews and settlement negotiations
- Attend departmental meetings and trainings
- Graduate students pursuing JD or LLM preferred
- Knowledge of securities law or industry experience a plus
- Strong writing, analysis, and research skills required
- Must be able to work with others and meet deadlines
- Minimum of 12 hours per week required for Fall and Spring externs
- Must earn current course credits and cannot work solely as a volunteer

- Successful applicants must pass drug screening and background check
- Not eligible for permanent attorney position after graduation
