IT Infrastructure Engineer (Experience: 5+ years)
**Members Only** Law Firm is seeking a highly skilled IT Infrastructure Engineer to join our team in either Cincinnati, Columbus, or Indianapolis. As a full-service law firm with over 925 attorneys and 1,500 employees, we are dedicated to providing exceptional services to our clients through a collaborative and client-first approach.
In this role, you will be responsible for the administration, configuration, and maintenance of our Windows and Azure environments, ensuring best practices and security protocols are followed. You will also assist with the implementation and management of data protection policies, network equipment, and remote access technologies. Additionally, you will provide support for application installation and updates, as well as assist with the design and deployment of IT infrastructure projects.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Administer, configure, and maintain Windows and Azure environments
- Ensure best practices and security protocols are followed for all Active Directory and Azure AD functions
- Assist with datacenter networking and equipment maintenance
- Implement data protection policies and adhere to data retention and recovery requirements
- Monitor all IT equipment and quickly respond to and resolve incidents to prevent outages or data loss
- Apply patches, firmware updates, and OS upgrades following security best practices
- Assist in the administration of remote access technologies and outside connections
- Support and install physical networking equipment as needed
- Assist with application installation and updates, ensuring security and best practices are met
- Proactively identify and address system resource issues
- Assist with IT infrastructure projects, including storage, virtualization, disaster recovery, encryption, and patch management
- Ensure all design, deployment, and upgrades are thoroughly tested and documented
- Complete all scheduled operational and maintenance tasks accurately and on time
- Adhere to all IT department standards and firm information security policies
- Assist with the decommissioning of hardware and ensure proper wiping of data for recycling
- Provide timely and relevant escalation support
- Adhere to ITIL disciplines and processes, including ITSM, incident management, change management, and problem management
- Continuously obtain and apply knowledge of relevant areas
Requirements:

- Physical ability to lift 75 lbs and travel to other office and datacenter locations

- Flexibility to work after hours and participate in an on-call rotation
- Familiarity with LAN/WAN technologies and data protection platforms
- Microsoft, VMware, and Cisco certifications desired

Education and Experience:
- Education, training, experience, or IT certifications demonstrating ability to perform duties of this position
- Experience with Microsoft Server, Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, and ADFS
- Experience with physical hardware maintenance, from implementation to destruction
- Experience with storage technologies, both on-premise and cloud
- 5+ years of experience in IT infrastructure services
- Experience with Exchange, Isilon, and VMware administration desired
- Familiarity with LAN/WAN technologies, preferably Cisco
- Familiarity with data protection platforms, such as Cohesity and Veeam
- Familiarity with Solar Winds desired
- Experience with helpdesk ticketing systems, such as ServiceNow or Service Desk Plus
