Job Title: Litigation Paralegal
Job Responsibilities:
- Responsible for all aspects of assigned cases from initial intake to trial
- Retain, provide information, schedule calls and testimony, and maintain relationships with experts
- Maintain client extranet with pertinent information and use it as a primary form of communication for updating clients
- Prepare responsive pleadings, witness disclosures, dismissals, and other assigned pleadings
- Receive and process documents, entering information into the Case Management System, and save and file documents in the firm's electronic repository
- Retrieve documents as needed or requested
- Enter pertinent information from interrogatories, military records, social security earnings, etc., into the database
- Assist with preparing motions and exhibits
- Manage and organize certified transcripts
- Manage trial documents and exhibits
- Prepare trial notebooks and other document productions
- Billable work may include billing summaries and medical summaries
Education and Experience Information:
- required
- Experience in Asbestos, Toxic Tort, Products Liability, or Personal Injury is preferred
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle a large volume of work
- Ability to attend trials, both locally and nationally
Salary Information:
- Salary Range: $60, to $70, Annually
