Immigration Paralegal The candidate will prepare employment-based petitions including H-1B, TN, E-2, L-1A, and PERM filings. Prepare the petitions from beginning to end, including writing support letters for the petitions that require them. Prepare family-based applications including adjustment of status and consular processing applications. Communicate with clients and government agencies as needed. Some administrative tasks such as answering phones, scheduling appointments, scanning documents, etc. A Bachelor's degree is required. Should have 2+ years of experience preparing the business and family cases referenced above. Should have 2+ years of experience preparing H-1B and PERM applications. Excellent organizational, analytical, and critical thinking skills are essential. Knowledge of immigration case management systems such as LawLogix, INSZoom, or Serenade is required. Exceptional drafting, proofreading, and verbal and written communication skills are essential. Should have the ability to work independently, plan and take initiative to accomplish objectives in a timely manner with minimum supervision. Strong ethics are needed. Must be comfortable with technology and using online programs.
