Job Responsibilities:
The Litigation Case Manager will be responsible for managing litigation processes on behalf of a large mortgage servicer. This role involves a variety of duties that are essential for the effective management of foreclosure litigation. Key responsibilities include:
- Reviewing and approving pleadings to ensure accuracy and compliance with legal standards.
- Managing litigation timelines to ensure that all legal processes are completed within required timeframes.
- Developing case strategies to effectively represent the interests of the mortgage servicer.
- Collaborating with outside counsel to resolve legal matters efficiently and effectively.
- While not mandatory, experience in residential mortgage loan servicing, debt collection, bankruptcy, or general litigation is considered advantageous.
Education and Experience:
The position is ideally suited for candidates with a Juris Doctorate degree, although it is not strictly required. Candidates who do not possess a . must have significant experience as a litigation paralegal, with at least 7+ years of experience specifically in the management of foreclosure litigation.
