Job Responsibilities:
The Lead Healthcare Attorney at the company is responsible for a comprehensive range of legal tasks and functions within the healthcare sector, particularly on the payer side. Key responsibilities include:

- Drafting, editing, and negotiating contracts with various parties, ensuring accuracy in all relevant facts and legal considerations before execution.
- Providing timely legal advice to stakeholders, working closely with teams on contract-related documentation, and overseeing legal courses of action as directed.
- Analyzing legal issues, conducting research, managing power of attorneys and resolutions, and revising legal plans.
- Overseeing project personnel, managing a diverse workload, responding to RFPs/RFIs, representing the corporation in legal matters, and assisting in structuring joint enterprises.
- Managing the company's Intellectual Property profile, maintaining communication with other departments, supervising legal staff, and managing third-party interactions.

Education and Experience Information:
Candidates for the Lead Healthcare Attorney position must meet the following educational and experience requirements:

- Juris Doctor Degree.
- Licensed Attorney with active membership of a State bar.
- At least 9 years of corporate law experience, with significant expertise in contracts and transactions.
- At least 4 years of supervisory law experience.
- Familiarity with healthcare industry agreements, HIPAA, and Medicare.
- Strong communication skills and practical business judgment.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.
- Collaborative and process-oriented mindset.
- Client-facing experience and negotiation skills.

Salary Information:
The compensation for the Lead Healthcare Attorney role is determined by various factors, including but not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, education, and level of experience. The company provides a reasonable compensation range for this role, which is as follows:

Compensation Range: $136,000 - $204,000 per year

Benefits:
The company offers a comprehensive benefits package to its employees, which includes:

- For full-time, regular employees: Up to 16 days of paid vacation per year, 6 days of paid sick leave annually (pro-rated for new hires), 10 paid holidays, and paid bereavement leave. Eligibility to participate in the company's 401(k) Retirement Plan with employer matching. Medical, dental, and vision insurance for employees and their dependents residing in the US. Company-paid benefits such as basic life insurance, accidental death and disability insurance, and short- and long-term disability benefits. Additional voluntary short-term disability benefits, Health Savings Account (HSA), and Flexible Spending Account (FSA) for healthcare, dependent child care, and commuting expenses. Certain roles may have potential for quarterly incentive-based bonuses and/or commissions.
