Job Title: Corporate Counsel
Job Responsibilities:
- Negotiate and draft a variety of commercial, technology, marketing, and other agreements.
- Research, assess, and mitigate risk, and provide legal advice.
- Work with business and legal teams throughout North America and globally.
- Support various departments including ECOM, Retail, Sales, Marketing, Customer Service, and other business teams.
- Manage and participate in projects related to ECOM, Retail, Sales, Customer Service, technology, compliance, privacy, and company policies.
- Support advertising, marketing, promotions, and sweepstakes materials.
- Assist in corporate governance activities.
- Build strong relationships with internal business partners as a trusted business advisor.
- Create and provide templates and training to internal business teams.
- Utilize technology and legal research tools for efficient legal support.
- Participate in learning opportunities and stay informed on best practices and legal developments.
- Maintain high ethical standards and ensure advice and actions align with legal, ethical, and company guidelines.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures and abide by all federal, state, and local laws.
- Demonstrate company ethics and values.
Education and Experience Information:
- Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school required.
- 3-7 years of legal experience in-house or with a law firm required.
- Current member of the Massachusetts Bar in good standing or another state bar with eligibility for Massachusetts in-house counsel program registration required.
Salary Information:
- Salary/Pay Range: $144,000 - $160,000.
