Law Firm in Newport Beach, California is Seeking Experienced Paralegal
Are you a skilled Paralegal with 5+ years of experience looking for a new opportunity? Look no further than **MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***., a reputable law firm located in Orange County, CA. We are currently seeking a full-time Paralegal to join our team and support our attorneys in labor and employment defense litigation.
Job Summary:
As a Paralegal at **MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***., you will play a crucial role in our legal team by assisting attorneys in the discovery process, conducting legal research, and supporting overall case planning and management. The ideal candidate will have experience in labor and employment litigation, a strong understanding of State and Federal court rules and procedures, and excellent computer and communication skills.
Responsibilities:
- Assisting attorneys in the discovery process, including drafting responses to written requests
- Requesting, analyzing, and summarizing client documents, records, and reports
- Preparing and serving subpoenas for business records and depositions
- Investigating claims and allegations, including interviewing witnesses and gathering evidence
- Conducting legal research for motion practice, hearings, and trials
- Overall case planning, development, and management
Requirements:
- Paralegal Certificate from an accredited and approved paralegal education program
- 5+ years of experience in labor and employment litigation
- Strong understanding of State and Federal court rules and procedures
- Excellent computer skills, including knowledge of Adobe Acrobat, MS Excel, and MS Office
- Exceptional organizational and communication skills
- Detail-oriented and able to work independently and with a team
Compensation: $75,000 - $100,000 annually
