The law firm of Kubicki Draper is seeking an Insurance Coverage and Appellate Associate for their Miami, Florida office. This is a full-time position with a minimum of 4 years of experience required. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in legal research and writing, as well as experience with insurance coverage and appellate work. They should also possess excellent oral advocacy skills and a desire to excel and grow within the firm. The candidate must be a licensed member of the Florida Bar and in good standing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct complex legal research and analysis
- Draft and review complex pleadings and motions
- Appear in court and argue motions
- Analyze insurance coverage issues
- Communicate effectively with team members and clients
- Work in a fast-paced and evolving environment
Requirements:
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in litigation support and research and writing
- Strong legal research and writing skills
- Prior appellate or insurance coverage experience preferred
- Prior courtroom experience preferred
- Strong oral advocacy skills
- Desire to excel and grow within the firm
- Ability to provide excellent customer service to clients
- Highly organized with clear and concise communication style
- Self-starter with a focus on long-term career goals
- Licensed member of the Florida Bar and in good standing
