Job Title: Practice Innovation Attorney

Job Responsibilities:
The Practice Innovation Attorney will play a crucial role in advancing the law firm's practice innovation strategy. The primary responsibilities include:

- Collaborating with practice group leadership, attorneys, knowledge management attorneys, and IT to assess technology needs and develop innovation strategies tailored to the firm's requirements.
- Utilizing legal practice experience to evaluate emerging technologies, both legal and non-legal, and providing actionable recommendations on their applicability to attorneys and practice areas.
- Leading proof-of-concept initiatives, pilot programs, and evaluating new tools to assess their impact and usability by attorneys.
- Overseeing the strategic rollout of new technology solutions to ensure seamless integration into attorney workflows.
- Collaborating with IT, marketing, and other administrative teams to align technology adoption efforts with broader firm initiatives.
- Communicating and training attorneys on new tools and systems to drive engagement and maximize adoption, and supporting attorneys in developing communication plans for clients.
- Serving as a key liaison between attorneys, IT, vendors, and external innovation leaders to ensure that the firm's technology investments align with practice needs.
- Fostering relationships with legal tech vendors and industry organizations to stay informed on trends and best practices.
- Identifying and implementing process improvements to enhance legal service delivery, leveraging technology to drive efficiency and reduce friction in attorney workflows.
- Supporting the development of automated workflows, data analytics tools, and AI-powered solutions to enhance internal operations and legal service delivery.
- Participating in and contributing to various technology-related working groups and committees, such as the Innovation Center of Excellence.
- Preparing and delivering presentations, reports, and training sessions to educate attorneys and leadership on innovation initiatives.
- Supervising and providing strategic direction to the Innovation Lead to ensure alignment with firmwide innovation priorities and initiatives.

Education and Experience Information:
- A . degree is required, along with experience in litigation. Experience in employment law is considered a plus.
- A passion for legal technology, innovation, and process improvement is essential.
- Experience in evaluating and implementing legal tech solutions, such as case management systems, AI tools, and document automation, is required.
- Strong project management skills are necessary, with the ability to manage multiple initiatives and stakeholders.
- Excellent communication skills are required, with the ability to translate technical concepts for a legal audience.
- The ability to foster cross-functional collaboration and drive attorney engagement with new technologies is essential.
