The **Members Only**’s Office is seeking dedicated Assistant Attorney Generals to join their team and perform complex legal work for the State of Arizona. The AGO has jurisdiction over a wide range of legal matters, including consumer fraud, white collar crime, public corruption, and civil rights laws. They are seeking attorneys for various legal divisions, with openings available statewide.
Job Duties:
• Provide legal representation and advice in complex cases in State and Federal court
• Prepare legal documents, such as briefs and pleadings
• Conduct legal research and discovery
• Respond to inquiries from law enforcement and the public
• Attend meetings and trainings as necessary
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities (KSAs):
• Knowledge and understanding of applicable laws and court rules
• Strong legal research and writing skills
• Ability to effectively communicate and advocate for a position
• Skilled in managing complex investigations and cases
• Ability to work collaboratively with others and encourage teamwork
Selective Preference(s):
• Dedication and interest in public service
Pre-Employment Requirements:
• Valid Arizona Driver’s License
• Admission to, and good standing with, the Arizona State Bar
• Submission of a writing sample with application
• Fingerprinting and criminal background check
