Job Title: Environmental, Health, and Safety Associate
Job Responsibilities:
The Environmental, Health, and Safety Associate will engage in a wide array of responsibilities related to environmental law within the law firm's Environmental Health & Safety practice. The associate will handle tasks involving:
- Environmental enforcement and compliance matters
- Environmental litigation
- Due diligence on environmental issues
The role requires the associate to have a strong foundation in handling these environmental issues, and they should be prepared to work on both enforcement and compliance-related tasks as well as litigation. The associate will be expected to contribute to the legal team with superior research, analytical, and communication skills.
Education and Experience Information:
Candidates applying for the position of Environmental, Health, and Safety Associate should have:
- 3-6 years of relevant experience within the field of environmental law
- Local bar admission in the state where they intend to practice
- Superior academic credentials
- Excellent writing, research, analytical, and communication skills
Qualified candidates should demonstrate experience or a keen interest in tackling a broad spectrum of environmental issues. Prior experience in environmental enforcement, compliance matters, and litigation will be advantageous. In addition, candidates should be able to perform due diligence on environmental issues effectively.
Salary Information:
The anticipated full-time annualized salary range for this position is $260,000 to $390,000. The salary offer will depend on various factors, including:
- Relevant experience
- Internal equity within the law firm
- Market data
- Job location
- Other job-related factors permitted by law
Candidates should be aware that the salary is contingent upon these factors, and the final offer may vary accordingly.
