NYC Housing Authority is seeking an experienced Agency Attorney III to join their Legal Counsel Division. This is a full-time position with a salary range of $103, – $115,.

As an Agency Attorney III, you will be responsible for providing legal advice to the agency on legislative, regulatory, and compliance matters, as well as assisting with policy formulation and implementation. You will also collaborate with internal partners to transition public housing developments to the Section 8 program and provide legal advice on pilot programs and other initiatives.

To be considered for this position, you must have admission to the New York State Bar and one year of US legal experience or six months as an Agency Attorney Interne. Strong legal analysis, research, and writing skills are a must, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Familiarity with housing laws and regulations is desirable, and experience with public housing and Section 8 programs is a plus.
