Summary:
Holland & Knight, a leading law firm with over 130 years of delivering exceptional legal services, is seeking experienced Senior Conflicts Attorneys to join our team in multiple locations across the United States. This is a full-time position with opportunities for growth and a competitive compensation and benefits package.
Key Responsibilities:
- Use conflicts knowledge to establish a full clearance process for new business intake
- Process prospective clients and matters on behalf of firm attorneys
- Perform conflicts checks and identify potential conflicts of interest
- Communicate with affected attorneys to resolve conflicts
- Draft waiver letters as needed
- Advise attorneys on rules of professional conduct
- Monitor changes in ethics rules and case law
- Assist with maintaining ethical walls and legal screens
- Special projects and duties as assigned
Required Skills:
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and under pressure
- Strong attention to detail and critical thinking skills
- Proficiency in research and computer skills
- Knowledge of conflicts of interest principles
Qualifications & Education:
- 10+ years of legal experience with 5+ years in conflicts of interest
- Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school and . bar admission
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to sit or stand for extended periods of time
- Moderate or advanced keyboard usage
Salary and Location Information:
- Salary range varies by location, ranging from $130,200k - $244,200k/yr
- Senior Conflicts Attorneys can be based within a reasonable commuting distance of any of our . offices
