Summary:
The Conference Center Receptionist is responsible for delivering high-level guest services and support. This role involves proactively identifying guest needs, managing the reception desk, answering phone, email, and virtual requests, and supporting the catering and audio-visual (AV) teams to ensure an excellent guest experience at all levels.
Job Responsibilities:
- Greet and direct guests to appropriate conference rooms and facilities such as restrooms, coat rooms, and telephone booths.
- Project a positive and friendly attitude as the face of the law firm.
- Confirm, process, and update conference room reservations using the EMS system.
- Address and respond to email and phone requests sent to the Conference Center mailbox.
- Ensure conference rooms are stocked and address any ad hoc requests presented by guests or law firm personnel.
- Coordinate with catering, AV, and facilities maintenance staff to ensure all guest requests are attended to promptly and professionally.
- Provide backup to facility department personnel as needed, including handling and directing internal and external calls.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure reception desk coverage from 7:30 . to 5:30 . daily.
Education and Experience:
Required:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- One year of experience in a customer service role, such as reception, service desk, or switchboard
- Typing/keyboard skills
