Job Title: Senior Quality Assurance Engineer
Job Responsibilities:
The Senior Quality Assurance Engineer at the law firm is tasked with ensuring the accuracy, reliability, and performance of the firm's data-driven applications and reporting systems. Key responsibilities include:
- Designing, developing, and executing comprehensive test plans for data pipelines, ETL processes, and reporting solutions.
- Validating data accuracy, completeness, and consistency across data sources, data warehouse, and BI tools.
- Developing and maintaining automated data validation tests using SQL and scripting languages.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and translating them into test cases and quality checks.
- Monitoring data quality metrics and proactively identifying and resolving anomalies or issues.
- Partnering with business stakeholders and technical teams to ensure data governance and compliance standards are met.
- Performing regression testing on data models, dashboards, and reports following updates or deployments.
- Troubleshooting and optimizing data validation processes and queries for performance and scalability.
- Supporting end-user testing and training for BI and reporting solutions.
- Documenting QA processes, test cases, and results to ensure transparency and continuous improvement.
Education and Experience Information:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Finance, or a related field is required, or equivalent work experience.
- A minimum of 7 years of experience in QA or data quality engineering, with a focus on data analytics and BI environments.
- Proven experience testing data pipelines, ETL processes, and data warehouse solutions.
- Strong SQL skills and experience with relational databases such as Snowflake, SQL Server, and Redshift.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a high level of attention to detail.
- Experience working with data visualization and BI platforms like Tableau and PowerBI.
- Proficiency in at least one scripting or programming language such as Python, JavaScript, or C#.
- Experience working in cloud environments (., AWS, Azure) and with data pipeline tools (., Airflow, dbt).
- Familiarity with data validation frameworks such as Great Expectations and dbt tests is a plus.
- Proven experience working with Elite 3E data is a significant plus.

Salary Information:
The salary ranges for the Senior Quality Assurance Engineer position at the law firm vary based on location:
- New York, San Francisco, Palo Alto: $140k to $195k
- Los Angeles, San Diego, Boston, Washington, .: $133k to $186k
- Denver: $125k to $174k
Additional compensation may include a discretionary bonus, overtime as applicable, health/welfare benefits, retirement contributions, paid holidays, and PTO. The application deadline is December 4, 2025.
