Job Title: Paralegal
Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct legal research to assist attorneys in preparing for cases and court proceedings.
- Draft correspondence to parties involved in legal matters, ensuring clear and professional communication.
- Prepare civil discovery responses, trial exhibits, and trial submissions in collaboration with attorney staff.
- Summarize medical or other records and depositions to provide comprehensive overviews for attorneys.
- Manage mail and email correspondence, ensuring timely and organized communication with clients and other parties.
- Perform file analysis, develop plans of action, and provide litigation updates to attorneys and clients.
- Negotiate liens and engage in other legal matters in collaboration with attorney staff.
Education and Experience Information:
- The candidate must be a California resident with a California Paralegal Certification or an equivalent degree.
- Preferably, the candidate should have experience in workers' compensation.
Salary Information:
- The salary range for this position is to per hour.
