Personal Injury Litigation Paralegal The candidate will draft Complaints, pleadings, motions, orders, notices, subpoenas, etc., in Virginia Circuit and General District Courts- must have experience responding to Interrogatories and Requests for Production. Independently manage attorney discovery calendar to ensure all deadlines are met. Schedule and assist attorneys with depositions, mediations, and civil trials. Should be able to handle pre-litigation personal injury cases as needed in anticipation of a lawsuit being filed, including Request medical records and enter data into the system- must have experience summarizing medical records. Request medical bills and enter data into the system- must have experience calculating and verifying damages. Verify insurance limits and collecting medpay and income loss benefits as applicable. Determine the validity of ERISA claims and responding accordingly. Should preferably have Bachelor or Associate Degree. Should preferably have 1 year of Personal Injury Litigation experience. Should have strong computer skills, ability to learn and use legal software and all Microsoft software.
