Law Firm Seeking Foreign-Trade Zone Compliance Director/Legal Assistant

Requirements Include Knowledge of Import/Export Compliance and Operations
Ability to Travel for Client Meetings
Proficiency in MS Word, Outlook, Excel, and Access
Strong Organizational Skills and Attention to Detail
Ability to Independently Prepare Formal Written Documents and Correspondence

Responsibilities Include:

Structuring FTZ Projects
Preparing and Filing Applications and Production Notifications with FTZ Board
Assisting in CBP/FTZ Activation
Setting up Inventory Control and Recordkeeping Systems
Preparation of FTZ Operations Manual Text and Exhibits for CBP
Incorporating Required Interface of Partner Government Agencies
Preparing and Filing Application for Activations

Requirements:

Sincere Interest in Expanding Knowledge in Foreign-Trade Zones
Keen Attention to Detail and Strong Work Ethic
Ability to Effectively Communicate and Present Subjects at Client Seminars
Background in Import/Export Compliance, Logistics, and Operations
Ability to Analyze Company Operations and Incorporate Procedures in FTZ Operations Manual
Ability to Perform Research in Legal, Administrative, and Internet Resources
Professional Demeanor in Dealing with Co-Workers, Clients, and Government Officials
Ability to Handle Multiple Priorities and Conflicting Tasks
Ability to Independently Present and Discuss Work Product

Preferred:

Knowledge of International Trade/Economics
Knowledge of CBP and PGA's Automation (ACE)
