Experience Information:
- Bar license required
- Experience in time management preferred
- Fluency in Spanish, Cantonese, Mandarin, Russian, or Creole is a plus
Job Description:
- Handle a substantial case load
- Conduct opening and closing arguments, direct and cross examination of witnesses, and prepare necessary appeals/rebuttals/summations
- Communicate effectively and empathetically with clients
- Work independently and take on significant responsibility
- Utilize strong understanding of legal language and principles
Qualifications:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Positive attitude and ability to work well in a team
- Organizational skills and attention to detail
- Time management skills and ability to meet deadlines
- Analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and sometimes stressful environment
- Discretion and good judgment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and fluency in multiple languages (a plus)
