Proskauer Boston is seeking a 2026 Summer Associate to join their dynamic and highly reputable law firm in Boston, Massachusetts. As a summer associate, you will have the opportunity to engage in cutting-edge legal work and develop long-lasting connections that will transform your legal career. This 10-week program is designed to replicate the experience of being a lawyer at Proskauer, where you will work on challenging matters alongside top lawyers in the field while building relationships with your colleagues. Our summer program offers a variety of experiences to help you attain the necessary skills to make your mark on the world. You will have the chance to work on challenging matters, attend depositions, courtroom arguments, and administrative hearings, and participate in the formation of companies and handling mergers and acquisitions. Additionally, you will have two mentors, a partner and associate advisor, who will provide guidance, answer questions, and assess your strengths and development opportunities throughout the summer. You will also have the opportunity to observe experienced lawyers in action through our shadowing initiative and receive real-time feedback and direction. Proskauer also offers partner-led interactive training workshops on various topics, such as corporate negotiation, mergers and acquisitions, mediation, and mock trials, to sharpen your skills. And, of course, there will be plenty of opportunities to have fun and socialize with your fellow summer associates and Proskauer lawyers through various activities and events, such as baseball games, mixology events, and community service projects.

To be eligible for the 2026 Summer Associate program, you must be a current 2L student in good standing at an ABA accredited law school with a strong academic record and demonstrated leadership skills. We are seeking candidates with excellent interpersonal and communication skills who are interested in practicing law in Boston. In return for your commitment to becoming the best lawyer you can be, we offer a competitive salary of $3,654 per week, a housing stipend of $1,000, and reimbursement for a bar review course upon acceptance of a full-time offer.
