Job Title: Corporate Tax Senior Manager
Job Responsibilities:
- Supervise multiple client services teams on client engagements, planning, executing, directing, and completing tax projects across various industries.
- Provide innovative tax planning, consulting, and compliance expertise to clients.
- Market, sell, design, and implement tax-planning strategies and manage budgets.
- Support the firm's growth and profitability by leveraging external networks and achieving sales and revenue targets.
- Participate in business development activities and professional industry or community events to enhance personal and firm brand.
- Effectively manage engagement fundamentals such as realization, utilization, leverage, accounts receivable, and expenses.
- Manage, develop, train, and mentor staff on tax projects and assess performance for engagement and year-end reviews.
- Conduct primary and secondary reviews of complex tax returns prepared by staff and recommend on return preparation regarding accuracy and tax savings opportunities.
- Conduct primary and secondary reviews of ASC 740 income tax provision engagements.
- Research and consult on various tax matters.
- Maintain a good working relationship with clients, acting as the primary service team contact, and work effectively with client management and staff at all levels to gather information and perform tax services.
- Gain an understanding of client operations, processes, and business objectives, utilizing that knowledge on engagements.
- Attend professional development and training sessions regularly.
- Adhere to the highest degree of professional standards and strict client confidentiality.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Education and Experience Information:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting is required.
- Master's degree in taxation, LLM in Taxation, or JD is preferred.
- Minimum five to seven years of progressive tax compliance and/or tax consulting experience.
- CPA or JD/active law license is required.
- Experience in public accounting is preferred.
- Experience in corporate income tax and strong ASC 740 Accounting for Income Taxes skills.
- Proficiency in US GAAP and corporate income tax laws and regulations.
- Strong working knowledge of broad-based statutory income tax compliance and consulting, including state and local income taxes, taxation of international activity, and transfer pricing.
- Experience in OneSource Tax Provision is preferred.
- Strong teamwork and analytical skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to travel as needed.
Salary Information:
- The base salary range for this position in the District of Columbia only is between $164,200 to $246,200.

- The role is a pathway to Partner or Managing Director in the company.
- The position requires in-person attendance at least two days per week, either at a company office or client site, consistent with the firm's hybrid work model.
