Job Title: Real Estate Lawyer
Job Responsibilities:
- Coordinate detailed due diligence and inspect title examination, closing binder, and legal documents for legal risk, completion, and accuracy.
- Understand all legal aspects of the clients’ desired outcome and circumstances to provide them with sound legal advice.
- Oversee support staff such as paralegals and clerks.
- Facilitate transfer of title between borrowers, real estate agents, and title company, and negotiate terms and conditions for real estate transactions.
- Draw up and review purchase and property management agreements, contracts, title abstracts, summaries, and commitments, probate and trust documents, leases, and financing statements, as appropriate.
Education and Experience Information:
- Up-to-date knowledge of property management, business law, title insurance, land use, and residential and commercial real estate law, including litigation.
- Hold a current law license in the state and be a member of your local bar association.
- . (Juris Doctorate) degree required from an accredited law school.
- Exceptional negotiation, research, networking, and communication skills are desired.
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a residential or commercial real estate attorney, as a transactional attorney, or as corporate counsel for a real estate development firm.
Salary Information:
- Compensation ranges from $85,000 to $100,000 yearly.
