Job Title: Privacy and Compliance Analyst (Hybrid)

Job Responsibilities:
The Privacy and Compliance Analyst at the law firm is tasked with supporting a wide range of firm-wide projects and initiatives within the privacy and compliance domain. Key responsibilities include:

- Supporting the firm's data protection initiatives and processes.
- Conducting various risk assessments, including client risk assessments, data protection impact assessments, and artificial intelligence assessments.
- Engaging in investigations, inquiries, and remediation efforts.
- Providing analysis and support for privacy and compliance initiatives such as privacy by design, data minimization, and continuous improvement of access management and controls.
- Developing and assisting with corrective action plans.
- Monitoring and auditing firm processes involving personal information to ensure compliance.
- Resolving internal audit findings and ensuring operational processes align with compliance requirements.
- Creating and maintaining procedural documentation for firm processes and initiatives.
- Participating in data protection controls strategy and administering privacy and security controls to support the firm's regulatory and federal government requirements.
- Serving as a privacy and compliance resource to cross-functional teams and workgroups to continuously identify, improve, and monitor processes to mitigate the risk of non-compliance.
- Assisting with administrative and operational privacy and compliance program functions.
- Undertaking special projects and duties as assigned.

Education and Experience Information:
Required Qualifications & Education:
- A Bachelor's degree is required.
- 2-4 years of professional compliance experience, with familiarity in privacy and data protection.
- Strong capability to communicate effectively and collaboratively with clients, internal attorneys, cross-functional teams, leaders, and subject matter experts.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Word, as well as iManage.

Preferred Qualifications & Education:
- Knowledge or understanding of data protection principles.
- Experience with Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC).
- Understanding of Artificial Intelligence (AI) Privacy.
- Experience working in a law firm.
- Industry-standard certification such as CCEP, CIPP, CIPM, or other similar certification.

Physical Requirements:
- Ability to sit or stand for extended periods.
- Moderate or advanced keyboard usage.

Salary Information:
This position may be filled in various . locations, including Washington, Illinois, District of Columbia, New York, Colorado, or California. The base salary ranges for this position are as follows, though these may not apply to other locations:

- Washington: $74,000 - $112,000 per year
- Illinois: $74,000 - $112,000 per year
- District of Columbia: $81,000 - $122,000 per year
- New York City: $81,000 - $122,000 per year
- Colorado: $68,000 - $102,000 per year
- California: $81,000 - $122,000 per year
