Job Title: Administrative Assistant
Job Responsibilities:
- Maintain filing system and accurate log of original legal documents and other case-related records.
- Assist with digital mail sorting and electronic distribution of documents.
- Handle internal requests to obtain documents and send them to third parties.
- Provide administrative support for miscellaneous projects with a positive attitude.
- Monitor inventory and restock office and kitchen supplies; place orders as needed.
- Cross-train and provide backup support for answering and relaying incoming phone calls.
Education and Experience Information:
- Proficiency in computer applications, specifically MSWord, Outlook (email and calendar), and Phone System. Familiarity with Excel and PowerPoint is a plus.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to multi-task and detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Ability to exercise sound judgment and maintain a calm demeanor.
- Ability to work independently, in a team setting, and get along well with others.
- Maintain professional composure in any given situation.
Salary Information:
- $18 per hour. The law firm offers a competitive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, flex spending, 401k, and gym/fitness membership reimbursement.
