Paralegal - Business Transaction and/or Estate Planning
Job Responsibilities
The law firm is seeking a qualified paralegal to join their team with a focus on business transactions, real estate transactions, and/or estate planning and administration. Key responsibilities for this position include:
- Document preparation related to entity formation and dissolution
- Filing with the Secretary of State
- Maintaining corporate records
- Drafting and reviewing contracts
- Preparing closing binders
- Preparing estate planning documents and managing estate administration
- Handling court filings and recording of documents
- Communicating effectively with clients
- Maintaining client files
The paralegal must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills and demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 and Adobe. Organizational skills and attention to detail are crucial, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Education and Experience
Candidates should have experience in business transactions, real estate transactions, and/or estate planning and administration. The position requires a candidate who is well-versed in the relevant areas of law and document preparation.
Salary Information
The position offers a pay rate of to per hour. It is a full-time position with expected working hours ranging from 30 to 40 hours per week. There is a possibility of a regular schedule of less than 40 hours per week and the potential for partial remote work from home, although the role is primarily in-office.
