Job Title: Mid-Level Life Sciences Corporate Associate AttorneyJob Overview: A law firm based in Washington, DC, is seeking a mid-level associate to support its growing life sciences corporate group. The team represents innovative companies across the healthcare, biotechnology, and technology sectors in a variety of corporate matters, including venture capital financing, public offerings, mergers and acquisitions, and strategic governance. This position is offered through a legal recruiting agency on behalf of the firm.Duties:Handle complex corporate transactions for life sciences and healthcare sector clientsAdvise on equity financings, initial public offerings (IPOs), and M&A activityAssist with public company reporting and compliance, including SEC filingsParticipate in the negotiation and drafting of commercial agreementsProvide guidance on corporate governance and general operational issuesCollaborate with cross-functional teams to support global business initiativesManage key aspects of deals and contribute to transaction strategy and executionRequirements:3-4 years of experience in corporate and transactional lawBackground in capital markets, M&A, and public company regulatory workDemonstrated ability to manage transaction components independentlyStrong legal research, writing, and analytical skillsProven ability to work effectively within team environmentsEducation:Juris Doctor (JD) or equivalent from an accredited law schoolStrong academic credentials requiredCertifications:Admission to the Bar in at least one . jurisdictionMust be eligible for or already admitted to practice in Washington, DCSkills:Deep understanding of corporate law principles and transactional structuresFamiliarity with life sciences or demonstrated interest in the sectorExceptional communication, negotiation, and drafting skillsHigh level of attention to detail and client service orientationCapacity to thrive in fast-paced, high-stakes environmentsJob Location:Washington, DC
