Real Estate Paralegal The candidate should have 2+ years of resale real estate closing transactions experience working with a real estate law firm. Pre-closing responsibilities would include reviewing purchase contracts for accuracy, open initial file in Softpro Select, professionally communicate with brokers, builders, agents and lenders throughout the closing process. Obtain title, taxes, payoffs, HOA letters, termite, survey, prepare title commitments, and title curative. In addition to experience, the ideal applicant will have strong multitasking skills, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and experience with multiple daily closings. The applicant will also have the ability to prioritize numerous tasks in a high-volume, deadline-oriented environment. The applicant must have the ability to work both independently and as part of a team and provide exceptional customer service. Experience with SoftPro is a plus.
