The Position:
The Health Care Litigation Associate will work closely with the founding partner and other attorneys in the firm to defend health care providers in medical malpractice claims. This position is a full-time role, requiring the candidate to be present in the office during regular business hours. The associate will primarily be responsible for conducting legal research, drafting pleadings, and preparing for and attending court hearings and depositions. The firm is looking for a candidate who is eager to learn and willing to take on new challenges.

Responsibilities:
• Conduct legal research on medical malpractice claims and related issues
• Draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents
• Prepare for and attend court hearings and depositions
• Assist with trial preparation and participate in trial proceedings
• Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and courts
• Maintain organized case files and document management

Requirements:

• 3 - 8 years of litigation experience
• Strong analytical and writing skills
• Experience with general or professional liability matters preferred
• Ability to work independently and take initiative
• Willingness to learn and take on new challenges
