Experienced Attorney with 2 years of experience in tort and personal injury cases needed for a part-time position at a construction and products liability law firm. This position has the potential to become full-time.

Salary: $55/hourly

Duties and Responsibilities:

- Conduct legal research and analysis on construction negligence cases
- Draft legal pleadings, discovery responses, reports to clients, medical analyses, motions, and briefs
- Assist with case preparation and management
- Conduct interviews with clients and witnesses
- Attend court hearings and depositions
- Collaborate with attorneys and legal staff on case strategy
- Assist with settlement negotiations
- Attend and summarize depositions, medical records, construction records, and discovery
- Help prepare for trial with motions in limine, jury instructions, and witness preparation

Requirements:

- Juris Doctor (.) degree from an accredited law school
- Resume must include two references from attorneys with knowledge of applicant's tort and personal injury experience
- Driver's license
- Admitted to practice law in Illinois
- Admitted in federal court non-trial bar or willing to do so

- 2 years of experience in tort and personal injury cases
