**Members Only** LLP, a national law firm with a reputation for excellence and growth, is currently seeking an experienced Employee Relations Generalist to join our team in Buffalo, NY. In this role, you will be responsible for managing various employee relations and staffing functions, providing guidance on HR policies and procedures, and researching and analyzing HR data. This is a full-time position with a hybrid work schedule and some travel required.
As an Employee Relations Generalist at **Members Only** LLP, you will have the opportunity to:
- Conduct research and provide assistance on employment-related regulations
- Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries and provide guidance on HR topics
- Plan and coordinate employee engagement events and communication with office leaders
- Advise employees on policies and procedures and make recommendations for improvements
- Manage employee relations, including conflict resolution and performance issues
- Stay up-to-date on labor laws and make recommendations to management
- Develop and deliver training on HR processes, policies, and technology
- Recommend new approaches and procedures for improving HR efficiency
- Conduct investigations and escalate issues as needed
- Manage the recruiting process for support staff and serve as a consultant for hiring needs
- Ensure appropriate staff coverage and manage time off requests and leaves of absence
- Conduct onboarding and offboarding procedures for new hires
- Maintain accurate documentation and organize HR files
- Collaborate with HR colleagues on training, events, and projects
- Ensure timely and accurate data entries in HRIS programs
- Approve and audit overtime and timecard submissions
- Perform other related HR duties as assigned
To be successful in this position, you should have:
- An Associates Degree with 5+ years of equivalent work experience, or a Bachelors Degree with 3+ years of equivalent work experience (Bachelors preferred)
- HR Certification is preferred
- Experience in the legal field is a plus
