Job Title: Litigation Project Manager

Job Responsibilities:
The Litigation Project Manager at the law firm is responsible for guiding attorneys and staff on the use of litigation technologies and best practices to deliver accurate, defensible work products related to discovery and trial preparation. Key responsibilities include providing resource support in project management services to case teams during the discovery phase of litigation. The Project Manager consults with case teams on the appropriate use of technologies, provides accurate information for budget creation, and trains attorneys and staff on litigation support tools and technologies. The role also involves reviewing and reporting on the progress of document processing, review, and production, preparing evidentiary documents for review while ensuring adherence to correct specifications, and leveraging creativity to solve unique challenges. Additionally, the Project Manager analyzes workflows for process improvement and efficiency opportunities, markets the department within the firm to attorneys and staff, and participates in team calls to discuss goals and objectives.

Education and Experience Information:
Candidates for the Litigation Project Manager position are preferred to have a Bachelor's Degree. They should possess 3-5 years of experience in electronic discovery project management at a law firm or litigation technology service provider. A thorough understanding of the Electronic Discovery Reference Model (EDRM) and the use of technology in support thereof is necessary. Experience with Relativity or similar document review and production platforms is required. Knowledge of firm operations, policies, and procedures, as well as relevant firm computer software programs (., Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint), is essential. Candidates must demonstrate effective interpersonal and communication skills, both verbally and in writing, and have a close attention to detail. The ability to handle sensitive matters, maintain confidentiality, organize and prioritize work, work well in a demanding and fast-paced environment, and work independently as well as effectively within a team is crucial. A commitment to the quality of the finished product and the ability to problem solve are also required.

Salary Information:
The salary range for the Litigation Project Manager role is $155,000 to $160,000 annually, based on a 40-hour work week. This range is applicable for jobs performed in Washington, DC. The pay within this range will depend on various factors, including relevant education, qualifications, experience, skills, and business or organizational needs. The position is also eligible for an annual merit increase and bonus pay.
