Job Title: Legal Assistant
Job Responsibilities:
- Interact with clients and attorneys via phone, email, and in-person
- Manage attorney calendars
- Draft, revise, and edit documents
- Open and close files
- Provide general support to various attorneys
- Filing, scanning, and other administrative tasks as assigned
Education and Experience Information:
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Strong written and interpersonal communication skills
- In-depth working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Ability to prioritize and complete multiple assignments accurately and timely
- Willingness to learn and adapt to law firm needs
- Reliable, punctual, and professional
- Team player with a positive attitude
- Strong typing and transcription experience
- A background in a law firm and/or labor and employment law is preferred, but not required
- Experience with Aderant preferred, but not required
- Notary Public preferred, but not required
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in an administrative position
Salary Information:
- This position's salary range is between $60,000 to $72,000 annually, negotiable based on years’ experience.
- Pay: $60, - $72, per year
