Construction Loan Servicing Relationship Administrator II
Job Responsibilities:
The Construction Loan Servicing Relationship Administrator II plays a critical role in the pre-closing and closing processes of real estate loans, including construction, term, lines of credit, and letters of credit. The responsibilities include:
- Leading efforts in pre-closing and closing real estate loans and contributing to moderately complex to complex loan processes, including syndications.
- Reviewing loan approvals and documents prepared by legal counsel to ensure consistency and adherence to requirements.
- Collaborating with Client Managers, borrowers, legal counsel, construction consultants, and title companies to monitor documentation requirements and exceptions, including interest and past dues.
- Managing the construction draw process by reviewing construction draw packages, identifying and resolving construction and title issues, maintaining accurate loan budget records, and monitoring non-loan sources of funds to ensure the loan is balanced in accordance with approval.
- Contributing to the training of junior associates.
Education and Experience Information:
- A minimum of two years of previous real estate loan administration experience or real estate paralegal experience is required.
- Proficiency in computer skills, including Windows, Excel, Word, and Outlook, is necessary.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential.
- Effective problem-solving skills are required.
- A High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent secondary school education is the minimum education requirement.
Skills:
- Finance or Accounting experience is essential.
- Knowledge of CDB Construction Loans, LIQ, and Aries is considered a plus.
- Understanding of regulatory requirements, credit, and operational risk management is necessary.
- Ability to influence and effectively collaborate with various business partners in servicing activities.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple loan disbursements, service modifications, and competing priorities simultaneously.
- Technically proficient, including the use of Windows, Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Solution-oriented problem-solving skills.
