Job Title: International Trade Paralegal at Law Firm in Washington, DC
Job Summary:
Buchanan Ingersoll & Rooney, a national law firm, is seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join our team as an International Trade Paralegal in our Washington, DC location. In this role, you will work closely with our International Trade Remedy Practice Group attorneys to manage large and complex anti-dumping and countervailing duty matters. Responsibilities:
- Prepare and file APO and public version filings at various agencies and courts, including the US International Trade Commission, US Department of Commerce, Court of International Trade, and Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit
- Organize and manage case materials using litigation support tools
- Provide assistance in the International Trade area of law and follow required legal procedures
- Draft complex documents such as correspondence, legal memoranda, and pleadings
- Conduct research using various online platforms
- Assist with client or third-party communications
- Support counsel during preparations for hearings
- Utilize web-based investigative skills to problem solve and develop winning litigation strategies
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree and paralegal certificate
- Experience filing in antidumping and countervailing duty investigations with the US Department of Commerce and US International Trade Commission
- Strong understanding of legal procedures and terminology
- Proficiency with computer applications, particularly Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Experience with litigation support software preferred
- Excellent oral, written, technical, and interpersonal skills
- Detail-oriented with strong data entry and analysis abilities

Salary: $75,000 - $100,000
