Workers’ Compensation Paralegal

Job Responsibilities:
The Workers’ Compensation Paralegal will manage a caseload in a fast-paced legal environment, working closely with a top producer in the field. Key responsibilities include handling various tasks related to workers’ compensation claims. This encompasses organizing files, noticing depositions, conducting discovery, ensuring compliance with state regulations, and preparing legal documents. Client interaction is a crucial aspect of the role, necessitating effective communication and professionalism. The paralegal will also be responsible for preparing written reports, correspondence, subpoenas, and other documents as directed, interacting with clients and opposing counsel, assisting attorneys in preparation for hearings, and maintaining confidentiality while exercising discretion and good judgment.

Education and Experience Information:
Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s degree, Paralegal Certificate, or have equivalent work experience. While workers’ compensation experience is desired, it is not a mandatory requirement. The candidate must be able to work effectively in a team environment and demonstrate strong technological skills, particularly with Microsoft Office. Professional and effective communication with employees, opposing counsel, and clients is essential. The role demands accuracy, attention to detail, integrity, and the ability to multitask and prioritize assignments. The candidate should be capable of working independently while using an appropriate level of discretion and must be detail-oriented. Salary Information:
The position is full-time, with the salary based on experience.
