Overview:
- Senior Network Engineer position with Milbank, an international law firm with offices globally
- Full-time position based in the US with a competitive salary range of $140,000 to $160,000
- Responsible for managing and maintaining the global network infrastructure (voice, data, wireless)
- Work closely with Network Manager, vendors, and technology partners to establish network standards
- Monitor and maintain network performance metrics to ensure optimal service across the enterprise

Responsibilities:
- Provide operational support and troubleshooting for data networking and VoIP environments
- Install, operate, and maintain network and communications infrastructure
- Design, implement, and support enterprise data, voice, and video networks using Cisco technologies
- Collaborate with vendors and technical teams to implement and optimize unified communications
- Use diagnostic tools to monitor and optimize system performance
- Coordinate with vendors and IT teams to resolve network faults and escalate issues as necessary
- Document network solutions and report on performance and usage
- Design and troubleshoot wireless and WAN technologies for scalable and secure network connections
- Experience with network monitoring tools such as SolarWinds and ScienceLogic

Qualifications:
- Strong customer service attitude and skills
- 8-10 years of experience in routing and switching with Cisco routers and switches
- Proficient in configuring and troubleshooting routers and experience with dynamic routing protocols
- Working knowledge of Cloud On-Ramps and Cloud Networking, preferably with Azure
- Familiarity with Palo Alto Next Gen Firewalls and remote access technologies
- Experience with internet and networking technologies such as DNS, DHCP, SMTP, SNMP, and NTP
- Knowledge of Quality of Service and routing and switching
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Team player with the ability to follow processes and procedures
- Self-disciplined and professional with minimum Cisco certification of CCNP
- Experience with Cisco Unified Communications Suite and familiarity with Zoom Telephone System
- Familiarity with SIP, , , , and QOS
