As an Education and Labor Policy Advisor/Associate, you will have the opportunity to work on important cases, significant deals, and pivotal legislation that shapes the country. You will be part of our dynamic Government Relations team, providing full-service lobbying, public policy, and legal representation to companies, associations, nonprofits, and other organizations.
We are looking for candidates with at least three years of legislative experience on Capitol Hill or in the executive branch, specifically in education and/or labor policy. Alternatively, we will also consider second or third-year associates with experience in these areas.
To succeed in this role, you must have excellent research and writing skills, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment. You should also have strong interpersonal and communication skills, be able to work independently and collaboratively, and have a good understanding of the legislative and political process. Experience working at the federal level is a plus, but not required.
