Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Litigation Paralegal to join our boutique law firm in Indianapolis. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 4 years of experience in federal court proceedings and possess a strong understanding of legal procedures and research tools. This role offers a competitive salary of $50,000/year and the opportunity to work with a collaborative and dedicated team.

Key Responsibilities:

- Draft and manage the completion of discovery responses and other legal documents.
- Review and analyze documents for depositions, trials, and other legal proceedings.
- Prepare pleadings, motions, and briefs for filing in federal courts.
- Assist attorneys in trial preparation, including organizing exhibits and coordinating witness testimony.
- Conduct legal research and analysis on case-specific issues.
- Maintain case files and manage case deadlines to ensure timely filings.
- Communicate effectively with clients, court personnel, and opposing counsel.
- Provide administrative support as needed, including document management and filing.

Qualifications:

- Minimum of 4 years of experience as a Litigation Paralegal, with a focus on federal court proceedings.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Legal Studies or a related field. Paralegal certification is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of federal and state court rules and procedures.
- Proficiency in legal research tools and document management systems.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines efficiently.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- High level of integrity and discretion in handling confidential information.
