Job Responsibilities:
The Client Care Paralegal will be an integral part of the estate and elder law team at the law firm. The primary responsibilities include:
- Preparing and organizing all necessary documents for estate plan signing appointments, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Conducting client and prospect intake meetings with professionalism and care.
- Collaborating with attorneys and financial advisors to ensure estate plans are accurately and thoroughly completed.
- Guiding clients through the signing process for estate planning and financial documents.
- Interviewing clients to gather crucial information related to their legal matters.
- Supporting day-to-day operations by answering phones, maintaining an orderly and confidential file system, and assisting with other administrative tasks as needed.
Education and Experience Information:
Candidates for the Client Care Paralegal position are expected to meet the following qualifications:
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in legal services under an attorney or lawyer in a law firm setting is required.
- Candidates who have completed a paralegal professional certification or have advanced paralegal education will receive preference.
- Must have completed an ABA-approved paralegal certificate program, such as an Associate’s degree or proprietary school program in paralegal studies. A Bachelor’s degree is desired.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a talent for writing and grammar are essential.
- Excellent organizational skills and time-management skills are necessary for success in this role.
Salary Information:
The compensation for the Client Care Paralegal position ranges from $20 to $24 per hour. Additionally, there is a $1,000 starting bonus available for qualified candidates.
