Job Title: 2026 Summer Associate Program - Los Angeles (Downtown) Office
Job Responsibilities:
- Participate in a structured Summer Program designed to provide a strong educational foundation through practical learning opportunities.
- Work closely with law firm partners who are committed to the professional development of Summer Associates.
- Receive individualized feedback and coaching from a team of partner and associate mentors.
- Be assigned to a specific department for the duration of the summer, gaining in-depth knowledge and experience in a particular practice area.
- Engage with fellow Summer Associates and attorneys from other departments in various social and professional settings.
- Submit a resume, transcript, and writing sample, along with a cover letter indicating preferred practice group(s): Labor & Employment or Litigation.
- Work alongside attorneys on real client work, bridging the gap between academic and experiential learning.
- Gain practical experience by shadowing attorneys on various deals and cases, attending client meetings, and participating in actual client cases and projects.
Education and Experience Information:
- Completion of one year of law school with the expectation of obtaining a JD in May 2027.
- Demonstrated academic achievement at the law school level.
- An appreciation for collaboration and teamwork.
- Interest in a specific practice area, such as Labor & Employment and/or Real Estate, as demonstrated through coursework, certificate programs, or prior work experience.
Salary Information:
- Compensation for this position is based on an annualized salary of $225,000.
