Job Title: Paralegal, Real Estate Finance

Job Responsibilities:
As a Paralegal within the Finance department at the law firm, you will be an integral part of the real estate finance team. Your responsibilities will include:

- Preparing documentation for closings, which involves organizing, proofreading, and assembling documents for transactions involving multiple properties, as well as maintaining extensive deal files.
- Conducting due-diligence reviews to ensure compliance and accuracy.
- Reviewing organizational charts and related documents to support transaction structuring.
- Coordinating with title companies and reviewing title, survey, and zoning documents to ensure all legal and regulatory requirements are met.
- Drafting loan and assignment documents and assisting with the drafting of loan servicing memoranda.
- Managing closing and post-closing logistics, including the preparation of closing binders.
- Preparing UCC Financing Statements to secure interest in collateral.
- Managing online SharePoint sites to facilitate document management and collaboration.
- Researching industry databases, publicly-available information from local governments, and other sources to gather pertinent data and ensure compliance with applicable laws.

Education and Experience Information:
Candidates for this position should have prior experience as a paralegal in real estate finance or transactional finance. Experience with multi-family properties, Freddie Mac, Fannie Mae, CMBS, and secured lending transactions involving all real estate commercial asset classes is highly preferred. Additionally, candidates should have experience with title and survey reviews. Demonstrated ability in written and oral communication is essential. Candidates should possess an intermediate level of technical proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (including Excel) and document management systems. Overtime work is available when needed, indicating a flexible work schedule may be required.

Salary Information:
The salary range for the Paralegal, Real Estate Finance position is from $80,000 to $100,000, depending on experience.
