Summary:
The Senior Contract Specialist - Legal is responsible for drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a variety of commercial agreements for Electronic Arts. This role reports to the Managing Commercial Counsel and is based in one of four EA office locations in a hybrid work model. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree, a paralegal certificate, and 5+ years of experience as a paralegal, preferably in the technology or entertainment industry.
Responsibilities:
Draft and negotiate commercial agreements, including software licenses, consulting agreements, and hardware purchase agreements.
Review and modify counterparty contracts as needed.
Escalate issues to internal teams and collaborate on solutions.
Participate in meetings with legal colleagues and business partners to understand EA's business priorities.
Contribute to internal projects and updates to contract templates.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
Paralegal certificate from an ABA-approved program.
5+ years of experience as a paralegal, preferably in the technology or entertainment industry.
Strong collaboration skills.
Ability to manage the entire contract process.
Reliable and goal-oriented.
Familiarity with contract lifecycle management systems.
Compensation and Benefits:
Base salary ranges:
British Columbia: $73,200 - $101,700 CAD
California: $82,500 - $122,900 USD
Washington: $76,000 - $109,200 USD
Benefits package offered varies by location.
