H2: Protect Client Data and Ensure Information Security as a Systems Security Engineer

Responsibilities:

- Monitor networked systems and investigate suspicious or unauthorized activity
- Analyze data-security systems and assess system utilization patterns
- Conduct risk assessments and vulnerability scanning
- Stay up to date with the latest threats and technologies and provide recommendations for improving security stance
- Assist in developing and maintaining incident response plans and business continuity strategy
- Collaborate with IT staff to integrate security measures into existing infrastructure and systems

Qualifications:

- 3+ years of experience in information technology
- 3+ years in a system security engineering or security analyst role
- Experience with data loss prevention, security event and audit logs, and forensic investigations
- Strong organizational and analytical skills
- Excellent written communication skills
- Familiarity with legal and regulatory requirements related to data protection and privacy
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, Information Assurance, or Cybersecurity preferred
- Security+, CISSP, CCSP, CISA, CEH, GCIH, or GSEC certification a plus

Essential Functions:

- Configure, respond to, and create essential security alerts in multiple platforms
- Communicate with stakeholders regarding risk, threats, and system configurations
- Design, implement, and manage security hardware and software systems
- Prepare and maintain detailed documentation of security processes and procedures

Work Environment:

- Remote/hybrid work arrangement with occasional office visits
- Overtime may be required
