Job Title: Real Estate Litigation Associate
Job Responsibilities:
The Real Estate Litigation Associate will work directly with clients on various real estate matters, with a particular focus on multi-family landlord-tenant law. This role requires the successful candidate to engage in tasks that involve strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent research, writing, and communication abilities. The associate is expected to be self-motivated, driven, and detail-oriented. Additionally, there is an expectation for the candidate to actively engage in the Baltimore Metropolitan business and legal communities, which may include networking and professional development activities. The associate will handle litigation cases, providing legal advice and representation to clients in real estate disputes.
Education and Experience Information:
The candidate must possess a Juris Doctor (.) degree with active licensure to practice law in the state of Maryland. A minimum of two years of litigation experience is required for this position. An interest in real estate law, specifically multi-family landlord-tenant law, is essential. The candidate should demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills, along with excellent research, writing, and communication capabilities. Being self-motivated, driven, and detail-oriented are important attributes for the role.
Salary Information:
The annual salary range for the Real Estate Litigation Associate position is $120,000 to $150,000. Compensation is based on several factors, including education, work experience, and certifications. Additional opportunities for compensation include a standard bonus and a discretionary bonus.
