Job Title: Bilingual Legal Receptionist
Job Responsibilities:
The Bilingual Legal Receptionist at the law firm will be responsible for a variety of administrative and clerical tasks that support the firm's operations, particularly in the areas of Estate Planning, Trust Administration, Probate, and related Litigation matters. The key responsibilities include:
- Corresponding with clients and various agencies/entities to facilitate communication and ensure smooth operations.
- Engaging in minor drafting and reviewing of documents and forms as required.
- Maintaining and managing the client/matter database to ensure accurate and up-to-date records.
- Filing court documents in a timely and organized manner.
- Managing guest relations to ensure a welcoming and professional environment for clients and visitors.
- Conducting legal, regulatory, and other research to support the firm's needs.
- Scheduling and managing the calendar to ensure effective time management and appointment setting.
- Assisting attorneys and staff with various tasks to support the firm's operations.
- Printing, sorting, and assembling documents as needed.
- Performing other general office duties to support the efficient functioning of the office.
Education and Experience Information:
While some experience is preferred, the law firm is open to training the right candidate who demonstrates the desire, aptitude, traits, and willingness to learn. The firm values promoting from within, so only serious candidates will be considered. Specific requirements include:
- A minimum of one year of experience as a receptionist is preferred.
- Fluency in both English and Korean is required to effectively communicate with the firm's predominantly Korean clientele.
- Candidates must possess a high level of organization, attention to detail, and time management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and a general familiarity with software programs is expected, though training will be provided as necessary.
- Candidates must be customer service oriented, self-starting, punctual, and reliable.
- The ability to work without constant supervision or direction is essential.
- Candidates should be adaptable to unscripted situations and able to work well with others.
- The ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines is important.
Salary Information:
The salary for the Bilingual Legal Receptionist position is to per hour, commensurate with experience. The expected hours for this role range from 20 to 40 hours per week.
